Ohayo Gozaimasu!!

Hello. My name is Sein-Chau but everybody just calls me Chau for short. In Japan I am known as Shukun. All my Iaido teachers call me by this name and it has kind of stuck.........

Within these pages, I will try to bring you as much as possible images and information pertaining to budo in Japan, especially stuff to do with blades (katana) and nihonto in general. I dabble in trading them so please check out the photo pages to see if you fancy anything.

Site Updates

This site has been in the making (in my head) for quite a while now. I just haven`t bothered to pull my finger out but now in Japan, I have decided to, so now it`s out.

I will keep adding new stuff to this site so check in once in a while to view the updates. I promise that they`ll be interesting!

There will be updates on the upcoming Iaido taikais in Kansai region. Check it out in the What`s New page.

Just beautiful isn't it!!??!!

Contact Me

The best way to get hold of me is by e-mail, just hit the little button at the bottom of this paragraph. It is nearly impossible to get me by phone so if you`re serious about telling me that you are the mother of my child, please e-mail.

Oh. BTW I can also be reached on shukun@japan.com Both email addresses are cool as they all end up in one account. In my contacts page, there is also my mobile phone email address, use that to get me 24hrs a day!

Kiyo Mizu Dera Lit Up.....

This was taken in late 2000. The occasion was the opening up of the inner chambers for the temple, done once every 33 years. Very lucky to have seen it.
